In this episode we introduce the power-duration (PD) relationship. It is a broad explanation of how critical power/speed/torque is used to predict when someone will reach task failure at a given endurance task (cycling, running, etc.). This episode is only meant to serve as an introduction to the concept. In the next episode we will discuss ideas on how the PD relationship may relate to training and competing in CrossFit.
